I must be fake

by Hannah Emellia   Jan 12, 2007

(reallly not my best.)

Black eye-liner and fake hair-dye,
I must be a poseur.
You ask me what's wrong, and I always lie,
I must be a loser.

I cover my scars with wrist-bands,
I must be a lost cause.
When you take pictures all you get are my hands,
I must hate my flaws...

People hate me and I don't care,
I must be hardcore.
I go to the mall and people stare,
I must hate them more.

I like a jock and he hates me,
I must be a geek.
I just wanted him to see...
Just me and not a freak.

When I smile you think I'm high,
I must be a stoner.
I'll never belong; that's why I wont try,
I must be a loner...

Poseur--a person who pretends to be what he or she is not : an affected or insincere person

The time where we feel we don't belong.
All of us has that time.
That's why we usually drift to our own cliques.

    It was a good poem.
