Cold Winter Night

by The Crappy Poet   Jan 12, 2007

Daylight falls, she begins to awake
Darkness takes over, who's life will she take?
Her skin white as snow, her touch ice cold
She smells the blood, her hunger grows bold

Cold winter nights, she walks alone
The thought of murder, and heart of stone

Lurking in the shadows, she senses their fear
Following their foot steps, the victim she nears
Tonight the night, she will kill once again
This night, so many nights, she must be insane

Cold winter nights, she walks alone
The thought of murder, and heart of stone

She soon sees her victim, looking into their eyes
The things she sees, a life full of lies
She lurks up behind them, giving the bite of death
Sucking the life out of them, listening contently for the very last breath
