You were wrong

by kaili   Jan 12, 2007

I'll walk outside in the midnight rain,
with a heart so broken and screams soul shattering.

I'll cry and cry until my eyelids close,
wake to sunlight on my face, and only for a moment i feel free and i can see color.
but the moment passes and i now feel trapped in a small grey box that is my heart.

they say it's just a phase and it will pass, I'm too young to feel this way.
they will just let our wing's break and let our tears fall, they say that we will thank them later, when we understand.

thank you for what?not being there even tho you said you would?you such a lire...and well i do understand that there may not be a later, because sometimes,
for some people, thing wont be normal ever again.

and one day you found me,and you finally see that you were wrong and you wish you could go back and make it better, but you cant its to late im already to far gone theres no bringing me back.

so next time you see me i will be the one
dress in a black dress with fishnet stockings and with black makeup smudged
down my eyes
ill be the one in the corner singing
myself to sleep wrapped in promises no one keeps...
