Self Reflection

Look at me standing before you,
What is it that you see?

Am I filled with God given beauty,
Or is that what you seek?

Tell me if you like me-
Have your feelings now mature to love?

Am I considered a perfect being-
Symbolized by a dove?

Would you spend forever with me-
Secure me and keep me warm?

Hold me under midnight skies-
Protect me from the storms?

Look deep into my spiritual character,
And examine whats deep within.

Am I one youd consider as a wife-
Would you want me as a friend?

Tell me now what you think of me-
Search deep during your inspection.

As I ask myself these questions-
I stair into the mirror at my reflection.
