Losing The Path

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Jan 13, 2007

If we choose
That one path is right,
Can we make it through
Without a fight?
Trudge our way
Through the forests and fire,
Fight through it all
Feed on our burning desire,
I'll get to you
Any way I can,
I won't let you go,
'Till I can hold your hand,
'Tis fire burning in my veins
And the trip is getting rough,
How can I stay in the real world?
It disappeared when I fell in love,
The ground fell away
From under my feet,
And all of the people,
Left me in the street,
I can't get off this path,
I can't stop moving,
I want to beat this,
But I keep losing,
It's getting harder and harder
To walk in my shoes
And I'm losing my ability
To think, react, and choose.
