You brought It
Into my home
A spirit, lacking the sound
Of footsteps
It's a shadow,
Whose image is ever fleeting
And its gaze is never seen
I see It
In the corner of my eye
Shivers creep up and down my spine
I fear for myself
I fear for my home
But most of all, I fear for It
It if it does not come here
In terror or animosity
Why does it choose to remain?
This entity confuses me
With its ominous presence
And though I feel some sort of pity
My hope is that It dissipates
