Killed Me

I've been hurt many times before,
But this time it was different.
It used to be only actions that pained me,
But now it's the messages that've been sent.

Beating me on the inside,
Ripping my heart into two,
Grabbing the arteries and ripping them apart,
You all act like I know what to do.

I can't help that I'm not pretty,
Without a personality of which you care,
Am I supposed to apologize,
For what was never there?

You've basically taken my wrists,
And decided to slit them for me.
You've shoved the fatal drugs down my throat,
And left me alone to bleed.

Shouting words of dissaproval,
You've killed me slowly inside,
Don't bullshit me when you know damn well,
That this whole time I've been denied.

So through the pain you've sent me,
The hurt and all the fear,
I just hope you recognize,
That you've taken away from me all that was dear.
