1 hour too late

by LONELY   Jan 13, 2007

I come home late from school
To see my mom hanging from a stool
My sisters are crying
And my brother is trying
Hitting the wall he doesnt seem to get
That all we were living for just left
Without a goodbye and without a goodnight kiss
She just left us there trying to reminisce
I lie there on the ground
Wondering what came around
It was a story that lasted 3 days
She was crying because his relatives werent grace
They treat like she is nobody
But now her I am looking at her lifeless body
I walk up to her and with each step I take
I realize that I was just 1 hour too late
I cut the rope that was holding her neck
Regretting every second I wasnt there to help
Now her lifeless body lies there motionless
Reminding us to beware of the senseless

hey you guys...this story is not true but my parents were once fighting really bad and i was crying and stuff then i went in my room and wrote it.....thx

Oh wow, I'm so sorry if this is true. It is stories like these that you see how much of an effect other people's judgements can have. You captured this topic beautifully, great work.
