Never Heard

As I listen to her voice
solitude resounding
overtaken by my tears
my heart is still mending

I'm left here
still forever alone
alone I say in an aspect
that your like a wall of stone

I have enough friends
my phone's always lit up
but I still get a flicker of hope
then realize, I wasn't enough

you dared to say it
but you never loved me
a fragment of nothing
looking at a pic of us, that's all I see

but I dare not dream
just get the terror of your touch
among so many memories
the words, "Nat , I love you so much"

well I can say this now
for I know you won't look upon these words
Never did I love you
that's what was said but never heard

this is the last poem Ill write
no longer will you effect me
cause I was worth it all
you shouldn't effect my memories

so my heart once so freely given
I take it back to never give again
for far too long you've missused it
and far too long it's tears were shed

when I hear a song
it was your ringtone when I called
I won't give in to the temptation
I just wont think at all

I was nothing to you
at one time you were everything
well Life took it's toll
but I'm here, with broken wings

I will mend
and the scars you left will heal
ill fix the shattered pieces of my heart
and forever lock it's seal

people say im bitter
just furious thats all
that a guy could treat a girl like this
and no one picks her up as she falls
