Watcher

by Tamsin   Jan 13, 2007

You watch everything in silence
All the hurt, anger and shame
Tracing footsteps
chasing dreams
I run blind and it's you I blame

The rain cried your tears today
I lay alone under your grey sleet eyes
I felt neither cold nor wet
But my defiance was met
You are infinitely wise

Helplessly you observe me
Shelter my small weak fire
But my heart has strong foundations
Fueled by passion and desire

I know I cause you sadness
You're livid yet never dejected
I tear you apart
When you created me
Was I who you expected?
