Last night
I dreamed about you
and had bad dreams
but knew they could not be true,

I leaned up against the wall
resting my head
with a tear dropping down
not knowing what was ahead,

I wiped the tear away
but more came
with bad thoughts
and no one to blame,

I found the picture
of you and me
and my tears suddenly stopped
knowing where I should be,

I should be beside you
where I do not worry
about you being safe
and not leaving in a hurry,

I should have your hand
attached to mine
and never let go
where everything would be fine,

but not being there
right beside you
kills me every time
when I think about you,

but I know I will never get my way
with spending my life with you
so when I am right there
I think about the amazing things you do.

    Hey colby that poem was awesome! one thing though, i think you should have made the ending have a stronger feeling to it, a bit more oomph - if you catch my drift.. but anway overall i think that was such a fantastic piece of writing and i loved how i could vividly picture the scene! 5/5 great work!

    It waws really good but it didn't seem to flow aswell as your others but its still rocks.
