The air clings to our throats like clutching fingers,
cuts the static and we cannot speak, against you I linger
tuned into this brilliant bliss, of sweating skin
that calls me to this embrace, and I'm pushing in
So very quick at first, but the stars will burst,
And lay me out so fast, so I slow down,
the clouds, they pass, above my eyes,
my rhythm matches the torrential skies.
I feel a pressure on my back,
your hands of grace, so firmly bled
into my very soul, as my spirit rises
we hang on tight, and melt at once, in sheer delight.
I close my eyes, this dying flame,
I'm now a frigid thing, this descent to earth.
Breath with me my love, again and again.
And keep me warm and filled with life.
