Dear nobody

by Anonymous Angel   Jan 14, 2007

Dear nobody,
You're not yet somebody,
but soon you will be,
someone like me.

Dear nobody,
are you doing OK?
Because i felt you kicking today,
you're really active there,
But nothing I can't bare.

Dear nobody,
I can't wait to finally see you,
then our life is brand new,
I can't wait to show you,
all the things you need to know and do.

Dear nobody,
You're not yet somebody,
but soon you will be,
someone like me!

**
for anyone who is wondering, No I'm not pregnant.

I wouldn't usually think of an unborn baby as "nobody". I can relate to this poem though. I really enjoyed the read. There was a great flow to it.

Hey Steph this was nice! :) I really honestly did like it and the whole idea of what it must like to have someone inside you, yet that person is somewhat of a mystery. It is a really hopeful and happy poem and for girls at least, it makes us feel good about our future and having kids. Haha but I'm many years from that! Keep up the good work. There is an honesty in your poems that seems to just come from the heart.

    Keep it up!
