I Am Depression

by nicole   Jan 14, 2007

I am the voice in your head.
The reason why inside your dead.
I am the one who stole your hopes and dreams.
The cause of the endless piercing screams.
I am the one who brought you to your knees.
Why youre no longer at ease.
I to you am like a heroine addiction.
IV caused you harm and self infliction.
I make you not want to sleep or eat.
IV locked your pain on repeat.
I hold you back and keep you weak.
I stop you from reaching your highest peak.
Ill kick you to the ground,
And help dig the grave mound.
The reason for all your aggression
I am depression!
