Salem 1692

by Salinity   Jan 14, 2007

Dreary steps through Salem's ground, beseeched by tears Cyrus bound. Where blame-struck bosoms silently wept, first year in Commonwealth at awakening rest.
The chalice draped by burgundy mire, matrilineal hatred blindly conspired. Heaven's maids hoisted in view, hearts of all confounded by few.
Ministry and wrath in conjoined arms, faltered
blame in malice drawn. Ignorance clenched by civil blood, spectral fears in delusional clot.
