Sunlight Will Save Me

by Olivia   Jan 15, 2007

You cant break
Something that is shattered
You cant take
Whats been ripped and tattered

You wanted to kill
You wanted to leave a scar
You wanted to scratch until
I looked bizarre

When I was down
You kicked harder than ever
You watched me drown
Thought you were so clever

What youve done is murder
What youve created is death
You thought you could get away with it?
And leave me with one last breath

Dont you know Im strong?
Dont you know I can survive?
You were so wrong
Cant you see, Im alive

I took the power
Right from your sweaty palm
A blossoming flower
Swaying in the calm

You thought not watering me would kill me?
Its not that simple
Cant you see?
Im here

Sunlight will save me
The bright light will take me away slowly
Sunlight will save me

This flower is holy.
