There once was a girl
Who lived a perfect life
Who didn't know much then
And thought everything was right

Playing with her brothers
Her sister being right there
Helping them with everything
Always wanting to care

Moving house to house
just a few blocks away
The girl thought it was normal
and had nothing to say

Theres yelling in the next room
as she lies there still
trying to dream happy
hoping she always will

closing her eyes
as she hears cracks
holding her stuff animal
not realizing the facts

Dad soon disappeared
She starts wondering why
Later on writes in her diary
Then soon begins to cry

one day she was walking
and saw her daddy outside
she suddenly smiled
And ran to say hi

A few months later
an arrangement happened
Her brothers went with dad
Just her and her sister in the end

Her mom getting worse
Staying out more than late
At the bars drinking away
After hours of the word wait

Mom getting sick of everything
Her responsibilities in life
Just decided the leave town
thinking it was right

Her grandparents finding out
taking things in their hands
The girl knew but wasn't sure
If she understands

Things getting better
As years go on by
