I Can't get enough of You

It's like you're a drug that I get high off,
whenever you're by my side.
Like you're the alcohol that makes me drunk,
becoming addicted to this wild ride.

It's like I'm drowning in those eyes of oceans,
what would I do if you were to ever leave?
Because without you here with me,
it's like I just can't breathe.

It's like you are a mosquito,
sucking the life from me.
It's like I'm just not me at all,
I'm addicted, can't you see?

It's like you're a dose of tobacco,
with every intake of you I want more.
You're pulling me in, making my knees weaker,
and making my love-filled heart soar.

I'm a girl with an addiction,
I'm going crazy with obsession.
I'm stuck on you, you are my life.
I just can't get enough of you.

~P.S i wrote this poem for a ~*Who Cares*~ contest and it got 3rd place!!!~

    I can relate to this I think most people can hey girl that last stanza rocks it ties every thing together perfect ending to an excellent poem

    Once again, the only thing i can really suggest is try to keep the stanza's the same length and rhythm, but the poem still holds up well.

    "I'm a girl with an addiction,
    I'm going crazy with obsession.
    I'm stuck on you, you are my life.
    I just can't get enough of you."

    The ending stanza was good way of summing it all up and it really got the point of how far the addiction goes.
    On a personal note, i can really relate to this poem, so i think it's excellent =)

    This poem was so amazing to me. hence why you placed:) i just loved your use of drugs as an addiction. it really worked well! 10/5 if that were somehow possible lol
