One Wish

One day, is all you want
Just to be in your loves arms
Holding and kissing
One more time, before you say good-bye forever more

But if you could do one thing
To stop them from leaving
Leaving you and your life
You'd want one wish

One wish, in the mist of the night
Tears rolling down your face
Forever is what you wished
Hoping and praying that it'd become true

    Aww i love the idea of this poem, i can really relate to the emotions expressed in it. It's short and simple, and sometimes the simple poems are the best!Although i like poems that rhyme, this one really works, and the word-choice is good.

    Short but very lovely! I love the last stanza:
    "One wish, in the mist of the night
    Tears rolling down your face
    Forever is what you wished
    Hoping and praying that it'd become true"
    I thought you did an amazing job creating an image using such descriptive words! Well done! =)
