I Walk the Way

I walk the way
Down that black hallway
Walls surrounding me
Squashing me
Clouding my mind

Claustrophobia setting in
Pushing against my chest
Squeezing my hearts

Am I still alive?
I think I'm halfway
Almost dead
Yet still here

I'm here
Awaiting death's call
Calmly and intensely waiting
Watching the door
Waiting to see death's face

I walk the way
Down that black hallway
Awaiting the Call
And I walk the way
