A soul so young
how can she be so wise?
i dont deny
that she is wise beyond her years
maybe even wise beyond my years
but that might be pushing it
so we wont go there
no one expects her to be tough,
or at least they shouldn't
and if they do,
shame on them
there's nothing wrong with not being strong
some of the most influential people
are the weakest at heart
and suffer the most pain
more than any human could imagine
so here's my advice, Sammie
take life by the horns and
don't let the world pass you by
you're young and have so much to look forward to
but don't rush it
live one day at a time
hold on tight
and enjoy the ride
