Night
Is when
The darkness
Is the ruler
You're at its mercy
It has the advantage
Cos you can't see, you're helpless
Blind to what may be happening
You have no clue of where you'll end up
The darkness of the shadows engulf you

However a ray of light can save you
A simple spark can light up your life
It will penetrate the darkness
And show you its all okay
The dark can never win
Light protects us all
It keeps is safe
Forever
Shining
