Dead Eyes

by Jemma   Jan 16, 2007

Black, so dark, so dead
I cannot bear to see no life
When I look into your eyes
And see nothing there at all

Dark hair
Strange it used to be blonde
You walk well; you talk well
But it's an illusion to the world
You are dead; you are dead
Dead to it all

When you laugh
I long to cry
No humour has survived you
When you run
I need to walk
And when you hunt
I cannot stay your hand

But you are dead
Black, so dark
Dead eyes, dead eyes
Nothing there at all
