Then and Now

I thought I was over you
Thought that Id moved on
I didnt have a clue
That you would forever be gone

I missed seeing your face
Every single day at school
In the morning myself I would have to brace
And force myself to act cool

Then the feeling started to fade
And I knew I was getting over you
No longer would my heart feel weighed
And my world would no longer be blue

Then the other day
You talked to me again
That just dragged my heart your way
And my whole body felt the strain

Now I dont know what to do
I know I love you still
I only there was some way I could know
That my heart you will not spill

i wrote this poem about the guy i love. it is complicated but i know we can't be together.
