Nothing can change that night

Screeching tires
screams of fright
help is needed
but not in sight.

a life is lost
another is shattered,
why won't he waken
what is the matter.

blood is every where
how couldn't he see
now hearts are breaking
how could this be?

the driver just couldn't stop fast enough
he just couldn't move
now his life is gone
with nothing left to prove.

no one could have seen this coming
nothing can change what happened that night
not a word taken back or another chance
now he soars where all is right.
