Just a Little Unsure

And now we've fallen apart,
And I think we're both just a little unsure
About how we'll get put back together

But would you please listen, my love?
Before you make all these irrational decisions?
There's something I want to say..

You were there,
When my world was falling all around me.
You steadied me and held me tight;
You made promises of forever.

And now I stand here again;
A strange sense of Deja` vu.

My world's falling all around me..

And now I wait.
For the warmth of your embrace..
It seems to be a little delayed.

I know we're both unsure,
And I know we're both hurting..
But please don't let this go.

You can't honestly say this all meant nothing.
Just open your heart and let me back in..
Things would be fine, don't you get it?

With you it all makes sense
In a crazy sort of way.

I know we're both lost and hurting;
Suffering from shattered hearts.
But together I swear we'd be fine,
We'd figure out a way.
We'd get put back together.
