Have you ever felt invisible?

by Kayla Sonya Dearing   Jan 17, 2007

Have you ever felt invisible?
When you had hundreds of people encase you.
Have you ever felt like you walked down the road of life unaided?
When you looked around you there were thousands of people around.

Have you ever felt like no one cared?
When there was at least one person that cared for you.
Have you felt like shedding tears?
Just because you were hurting and you didnt know why.

Have you ever felt invisible?
Felt like no matter what
No matter where you went
You always felt like you were always alone.

Every time you made friends
Its like they seem to turn their back on you
They like to talk bad about you
Or they like to do hateful things to you.

Have you ever felt like you kept falling?
And everyone kept passing you by
But no one was there to help you?
Pushing you further down to the ground.

Have you just looked up at the sky?
And prayed to God
Ask him to help you up,
When you felt like you couldnt lift yourself up.

I guess we all have felt invisible,
I guess we all have lost hope.
But we just have to lift ourselves up.
Even if we lose the strength to pick us up.

But with the strength within
We can find where we belong
We can find all the hope we need.
And we wont be invisible to ourselves.
