Perfection

by BruisedxandxBroken   Jan 17, 2007

Crying in the corner
watching from afar
missing every inch of you
all of who you are

Id love to blame it all on you
but I did this to myself
I think you really cared for me
but I refused to let you help

I wish that I could hate you
as much as I hate me
I wish you had a flaw
something I don't see

I guess maybe you're perfect
and your words were from the heart
but because i never trusted you
we were doomed from the start

so i gave up my chance for perfection
because I wouldn't let down the walls
I regret my every word and action
and these tears continue to fall
