Missing You

by Cindy   Jan 17, 2007

You were just a babe
Hard to leave my son
This was not my plan
Wanting to see you run

Much missed being gone
Crawling across the floor
Cutting your first teeth
First steps out the door

Wanting to be there with you
Holding tightly to your hand
catching you when you feel
Running, playing in the sand

Dad will be there soon
Helping you live and grow
Teaching you life's lessons
Everything you need to know

Never again to leave you
I'll be with you everyday
Teaching you to be a man
For this to God I pray

This is dedicated to a very dear friend. He had to go away to a diffrent country for work. Leaving his 4month old son behind with his wife. May God shine his light upon you both.
