A Day in the Life

by darxtar   Jan 17, 2007

Neglective fathers and drunken mothers
Distant friends and abusive lovers
Late night visits and heated fights
Smeared makeup and stolen rights
Tear stained cheeks and bleeding lips
Desperate eyes and finger-bruised hips
Stolen comfort and unheard cries
Betrayed trust and unleashed lies
Broken dreams and beguiled hope
Tainted minds and no will to cope

Welcome to your life, welcome to what's real
You'll find that in reality it's better not to feel.
With the final realization another young soul dies
These are the days of our normal teenage lives.
