Early morning and we awake to the screaming of noisy children scattered down the corridors like ants searching for food Break/dinner and the reluctant smell of relief the tortious teachers slither around the hall like snakes hunting their prey clutching, clutching comes the silence of the evening top the surge of doors to gloomy east of faded screams night, night we clutch out pillows and sleep for the morning ahead just another wythenshawe day written in 2002 xx
