How can you say goodbye,
to the one you love,
knowing that in goodbye,
there wont be a hello.

to the person you once knew,
the person that you trusted,
the person who helped you be you.
How can you say goodbye,
knowing its forever,
those will be your last words,
goodbye forever.
How can you saw goodbye,
to someone you cared about,
someone who did nothing wrong,
but changed along the way.
How can you say goodbye,
to a best friend you once knew,
but changed as they got older,
and they aren't themselves anymore.
How could you say goodbye to me,
knowing that was it,
and you walked away,
and that was it.
Now I see you pass by me,
and you don't smile or wave,
you just stay with your new friends,
as your old ones fade away.
What happened to best friends forever,
the stories we told,
the memories we have,
they all just faded away.
Maybe I should let you go,
you changed to much to try,
your not the person I once knew,
your just not being you.
