How life is like when you're famous

What is it like to be a star
to live inside a dream
to have these people want you so
-- here, nobody likes me

what is it like to have it all
to have millions in bank accounts
to worry naught about the bills
you'll pay them off, you know you will

what is it like to never care
to have it all just lying there
to have your dreams laid before you
and choose just what you want to do

what is it like to look upon
these people who don't own a lawn
don't own a fence, don't own a home
what is it like to stand so strong?

what is it like to be defined
to be a piece of heaven's sky
what is it like to be a star
just hanging nowhere for all of time

what is it like to read this poem
and know you'll never be alone
while i am here still curious
how life is like when you're famous

    This is really hard hitting, i think rich people should accept their responsibilty to help others, but at the end of the day money cant buy u happines or health, (i was gonna say family but it can- that is sad) n at the end of the day i dont think fame is all it's made out to be. anwyay ur poem is very thought provoking (as u can tell by my essay, sorry) well done

    Great poem. It is definately an interesting thought. I mean what really goes through their minds when they see thousands of people around our Nation's capital are homeless. Superb job, you definately nailed it.
