Hand in hand

As she writes of her pain
on more than just paper
she begins to think why she\'s here
its then that she sees the future she has
in his eyes
as he runs up to see her for more than the reason of exknowlegement
she looks in his eyes to hope for the future
with hopes that its him she\'ll be with one day
as they walk down the hall hand in hand
the sleeve of her shirt moves up
he glances down at the marks of her wrist
hoping its not what he sees
she begins to get teary as he looks at them closer fighting to run like the wind
its becuase of those marks, he grabs her by the hand and lifts up his sleeve, to show the scars from before as he says "that was before i met you"
he kisses her cheek as he wipes the tears that have flown from her eyes
by now they were looking at eachothers eyes as she is assured
he is her furture the reason she lives
hand in hand is how they walked
and how they always will be forever
