Sweet Sixteen

by Carley   Jan 18, 2007

Sitting in my room, tears running down my cheeks
Just finished some chores, but now they're saying
I'm worthless, Ilm nothing
All I wanted was to see my best friend for my birthday
I needed to talk to her, I need help
I wanted to get out of my house, have some fun
I learned my lesson for my ticket
I learned it when I got pulled over
But here I sit, in my room
Parents yelling and tearing me to pieces
They don't see me but here I am
Tear filled eyes and just one thought
I wanna die and what better way to go
Than on my sweet sixteen?

Hell Yeah! This is like the bestest poem I ever read. I know how you feel, cuz my parents forgot my sweet 16. I hate how they always gotta be yelling, cuz then the neighbors think we crazy. I just wish they would stop pushing me around acting like I'm never good enough and I don't try at nothing I do. Oh, sorry...um, yeah. I thought this was a really good job. For me, it just flowed together and it seems like you got a gift with writing. So, don't ever stop writing, cuz trust me it helps you get through a lot of stuff. So, keep it up and I'm always here.
