Cross roads

by More Than Words   Jan 18, 2007

She stands on an empty road.
Gazing at the sky.
As she sees the clouds pass overhead.
Wondering where to go from here.
She searches for an answer.
But can’t find a conclusion.
To all of her confusion.
Which way should she turn?
She has no clue.
She wishes she knew.
After finally figuring out how to forgive and forget
Things come back.
She is stuck at a cross roads.
Which way should she turn?
She looks back at what she has learned.
Should she be torn?
Because she doesn’t know which way to look.
She looks one way and turns the other
And both sides are full of confusion.
All she asks for is a conclusion.
She looks down and no longer see her shadow big and tall.
She now see nothing.
Not even a reflection of her tears.
She looks up at the skies as they turn gray.
She bows her head and tears begin to flow.
She falls to the ground
As her head begins to spin.
Where does she go now?
With mascara and tears rushing down her cheeks.
The clouds begin to roar and down comes the rain.
Her eyes drain as her heart fills with pain.
She has no way to turn.
She realizes she is stuck.
And there is now way out.
No one to help her.
She lives her life at a cross roads.
Not knowing where to go.
