Lips that Melt the Ice (Saved You)

Lips that Melt the Ice, And I have Saved You

The burning touch
rain on my cheeks
was that a hint of laughter?
oh let the tears be hidden
by this Rain, this rain that smiles!
For when a heart has expired
they do not see that
with one embrace...
all barriers be drawn down!
lips that can melt the ice with one kiss
so fierce, so bold, so delicate...
You are free to leave anytime
when a quest is conquered, I'll know
and let go...a wrenching emptiness
For some can only love with a lifetime of security
but I cannot blame you not wanting to watch me die,
So go Forth! My Child, for I have saved you.

This is great-I am mesmerized by how deep your emotion and expression is. A very powerful ending, and love the title!
