Romeo And Juliet

by The Poet Behind The Poems   Jan 19, 2007

They come from different worlds but are one and the same
There families are in a feud witch cause there love pain
They meet in secret and then they got married
They thought they'd grow old together as there love is now carried

As time went by there familys feud got worse
It was more then a feud, to them it was like a curse
If this carried on surely they would both be killed
But it was Mercutio and Tybalt whose blood was spilled

In a frantic rage Romeo was banished never to return
But he couldnt help is heart for love is what it yarns
He returned to her and made love while holding her tight
This would be the last for banishment start tonight

Juliet was promised to Paris they were to marry tomorrow
But the thought of betraying Romeo was coursing her sorrow
Friar John came up with an idea to give Juliet a false death
To knock her out for 20 hours and have the littlest of breath

He sent a message to Romeo but the letter he did not receive
Balthazar got there before the note and said your Juliet is deceased
Romeo could not take these word and went to see his wife
He ran there with nothing just an old Sharpe knife

He got to the casket where Juliet was lying and sore she was dead
He couldnt stand the pain and drank poison it went straight to his head
As the poison went in Juliet awaked but he already found death
She see's the knife takes it aims it high at stabbed in to her chest

... then her eyes close her pain was gone and together they took there last breath
