My Angels kiss

The day she was born I no to things for sure
She was sent from heaven with a heart so pure
She was born into my life and shes daddy little girl
I love her with all my heart for she is my world

I thank god for all the joy hes bought in my life
I thank him for the most beautiful daughter and enchanting wife
I thank him for all the birthdays and the wedding im not going to miss
But I thank him the most for when I put you to bed then I get my angels kiss

She growing up so fast she just turned sweet 16 in May
And shes looking like her mum even more each day
She one part women the other parts still a girl
To make up and perfume from dolls and curls

She said daddy I hope you don�t mind but I only want a kiss on the cheek this time
I said as long as I get my angels kiss to kiss your dad is not a crime

Today she changes her name and I have to give her away
Her heart belongs to another I hope she dont leave mine astray
She going to be opening her wings in the big wide world
And to be honest it feels like im losing my baby girl
