That Girl

by Vanessa   Jan 19, 2007

There she is again.
Forcing a smile.
Wishing and praying life was worthwhile.
Laughing ang talking in a clear tone.
Sitting and waiting for her friends by the phone.

Hours go by......the same old day.
She kneels by her bed, and begins to pray.
She wishes she was pretty, smart, and cool.
She wishes she was popular, and not a loner at school.
She wishes she could be different, and that people would care.
She's constantly saying her life is not fair.

An anonymous person, who could she be.
She wants to be noticed,
To be happy and free.

She wants live, yet she wants to die.
She'll lay by her bed, she'll lay down and cry.

She has no life...where could it be.
She's so unhappy...no body will see.
No body will care.
No body will know.....she hides her feelings...none will show.

Who is she?...This girl.....she is me!!
