I never knew that losing you,
Would some how change my life to.
In many ways it's made its effect,
And always in my life it will reflect.
I wish I wouldn't have judged the fate,
For before my eyes it would be too late.
The relationship was not too fast nor slow,
It was comfortable and steady, you know?
You were the one and only guy,
I ever thought I could trust not to cheat or lie.
Each and every day we would speak,
Although always knowing my parents would freak.
You were always thoughtful, caring and nice,
I didn't even need to think about that twice.
You never felt the need to play no game,
And never once couldn't remember my name.
You never made me step to a dare,
Leaving me to know that you truely care.
You'd let my little pet peeves slide,
And even when our opinions seemed to colide.
Never would you say something fake,
And you would always write messages in the sand at the lake.
At night I seem to pray,
That some how some day,
We could live the perfect life,
With me by your side as your wife.
