Our Love Will Endure

by BeautifulxMess   Jan 20, 2007

I want you to know what it is I feel.
The feeling I get when you're around.
Everything disappears out of sight.
And you're the only feet on the ground.

My heart has been tattered; torn.
Split down the middle into two.
But you're always here to mend.
And you were always to help me through.

If I was to have to leave this town.
To run away and never come back again.
I'd come back to see your smile.
And just to touch your loving hand.

When my world was upside down.
You'd turn me on my two feet.
When everything starts to get out of place.
You were always here with me.

We have been as one for so long.
I embrace every minute we're together.
The world could come to an end.
But your love will always get better.

I wish I can say more than I think.
It's hard to explain the pleasure.
When I think I'm alone, I close my eyes.
And I know our love with endure.

Wow. I love the ending. The title did not make sense until the last sentence was read. It seems your heart flows with such ease into words. Rhyming could use a little more effort. But it was a good poem. No doubt. Voted 5/5

Ps: In the ending of your poem. it says "Out love with endure" Change 'Out' to 'our'

It was another nice poem, just the flow was off in a few places and you tended to repeat yourself... it was a nice poem still though, it was good. nice job, keep up the work and keep working at it, you have potential
