Shining Star

You are my shining star of light
My eternal star of faith and hope
When days are dreary
And the nights cold
I look up at the everlasting sky
And smile at the only star shining bright
When all the others hide behind
Dim and gray
It warms my heart and soul
To know our love is a wealth more than gold
And I can't help but shed a tear of joy
As you shine brighter than the others at night
To show you love me with all your might
You are my shining star of light
My eternal star of faith and hope

    Glamour and beauty flow from your written word. Also a sense of warmth, and beauty. Images spring into the mind, and emotions flow easily when this piece is read. I liked your form, and how you repeated these two lines
