LOST

A child lost in the dark
forgotten for eternity
hears nothing feels everything
shes all alone and weeps
missing the love and attention
hating the hate with its intentions
crying alone without a friend
turns up dead in the end
does anyone notice as the child disappears
it would seem not since no one sheds tears
i am the child lost and forgotten
buried beneath them way on the bottom
no one cares for my hurt or my pain
forever forgotten again and again
