Miss You

Staring off in to the night
I turn away from the light
I miss you; deep in my heart
Ever since we've been apart

Your love for me, like the sun
Can't believe our time is done
It seemed time passed so fast
But I knew it would never last

Now I miss you so badly my dear
As the rose is missed, this time of year
The sun can see it's beauty no more
Pain cutting deep, to the core

Hope is what guides me, gets me through
Hope that I shall soon see you
For right now, my life is gray
Turning darker with each passing day

Every day that I see you, not
In tears is how I will be caught
Weeping all the time these days
No more do I see the sun's rays
