This is to my Granddad, he died when I was a kid, I miss u Granddad xoxoxoxo

So many times I've tried
I swear to u I have
I've tried to listen to what u said
But I cant 'just believe'

So many times as a kid
I remember
U were there to cuddle me
When I was hurt

U r the one person
I knew I could count on
Your shoulder was always there
For me to cry upon

I lost my best friend
When I was eight
I've been alone in this world
Which is something I hate

I've been through more pain
In the last 10 years
I've hidden my feelings
And I've hidden my tears

U told me u would always be there
U said u would always watch over me

Now when I need u the most
I know u aren't here
But I remember the warmth
I remember the touch of your hand
Whenever u would wipe my tears

When I feel I cant handle much more
I close my eyes and picture your face
I love u more then anything
I try to believe u r up there

But if u r up there
Why whenever I call out for u
U dont show me a sign
If only u did that Granddad
I would believe with no doubt

It's funny how one person and one thing can change your life so much.
