And we won't know what happened.

Gone in an instant.
And we cherish our broken hearts,
Just to try to come back to life again.
So many words that we've always heard,
Have never been backed up by our hearts.
We take it all and put it on the line,
Just to feel better than last time.
We tend to think about
Everything that's always been a lie.
As the days pass slowly and painfully,
It grows harder for us to bear.
We get weighed down by these heavy hearts
That never seem to get lighter.
We enjoy pretending that it's always
Out there for us to grab it.
And we tell each other,
With one last hope and regret,

With any chances that we're given,
We'd take them and try to
