One moment

Day turns to night
light turns to dark
hours turn to minutes
minutes into seconds

the sound of your voice
soft in my ear
the sound of a god
as my heart starts to race

you ask me to dance
under the starts
and under the moon light
to the beat of my heart

the moment seems to last
as long as it can
from midnight
till dawn

to think of this moment
brings a smile to my face
as i fall asleep at night
with your arms around my waist

to hear your heart beat
to the beat of mine
is something special
that i have in mind

i want to give you a gold key
something you need indeed
the key to my heart
to keep in your pocket

my heart beats fast
for i love you
my blood runs hot
for my love for you

i want the moment to last
for as long as it can
i don\'t want it to stop
or ever end
