"A girl's worst nightmare"

She walks into school happy as can be,
thinking this day was going to be a great day.
Little did she know, her three best friends would turn their backs on her
Why? She didn't know.
They, said it was because of a rumor
A rumor she didn't even start
They would push and shove her, call her names
They didn't even give her a chance to explain.
They said it was over they were no longer friends.
She lost friends because of this stupid fight
She began to be harassed.
Who was this nice, girl going to turn to with no one to talk to
This went on day after day
Why did she have to go through this?
It just wasn't fair
She began to get other friends back that were on her side
But it wasn't the same not with her 3 best friends against her
Aren't friends suppose to be there for each other?
What happened to those days?
Friends get in fights every day but aren't they suppose to make up?
These are the questions she was asking herself day after day.
What did she do to deserve this?
Things became worse, she didn't know what to do.
She kept all these feelings locked up inside.
Just wishing one day they would give her a chance to explain.
Hoping they would one day be best friends again
This girl has to live a nightmare
Just because of a stupid rumor she didn't even start.
Why do people start rumors?
I don't see the point.
So next time you plan on starting a rumor think of what it does to people
To friendships, who it hurts,
So ask yourself this, is there even really a point to starting rumors?
