Sit down with me and look back,
do you ever wonder why God created you?
Would the world be any different
if someone else walked in your shoes?

Are you even enjoying this life
That could be stripped away at any moment?
Do you only see the big picture at times
and neglect the diminutive components?

How often have you taken the time
To notice one breath you've taken throughout the day?
How many times have you stopped your work
To look out your window and smile at the rain?

David proclaims that he was rescued
because God delighted in him.
Examine that statement for a moment
Do you think you could say the same thing?

Could you say that you strive
to live each and every day for Christ?
That every breathe that you takeis your desirous sacrifice?

Think about this as you fight traffic
to get to mall so you can buy shoes
Are you doing your best to live for him
in this ephemeral life that you could so easily lose.
